We take a Pride in our Liberty.

So it has been a while since I posted anything. I started a new job at the beginning of this year so my time just disappeared but that urge to create never died. My recent interest has been surrounded by the theme of nationalism. Maybe its because this year marks 50 years of independence as a nation and all the hype behind it. This recent project 'Pride in our Liberty' came to me recently when I was going through some design posters with quotes from famous designers. I then thought about the men and women of this country that made an indelible contribution to the development of Trinidad and Tobago as a nation, and their words of wisdom and guidance. These individuals formed the foundation of our history and unfortunately most of us are not aware of their words that brought a people together, words that broke racial barriers, words that made a statement to the world that we have a voice. I saw the importance of celebrating the words of these founding fathers of democracy. So please ............look at the posters, read them, remember them, share them and take pride in your liberty!!.
